Wolf Alice, Jack White and more announced for Mad Cool 2018

Mad Cool festival has announced the next wave of acts to join this year’s bill.

Jack White has confirmed his return to Spain for the first time since 2012 with his new album ‘Boarding House Reach’. Elsewhere on the line-up, Wolf Alice are also set to head to Madrid, alongside The Big Moon. Odesza, Kevin Morby, Young Fathers, Daniel Avery, Eels and Leon Bridges are also set to play the July event.

Recently, Tame Impala, Glass Animals and Franz Ferdinand were all announced for the bash in Madrid. Other acts appearing across the weekend include At The Drive-In, Future Islands, Justice, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Depeche Mode, Fleet Foxes, Massive Attack and Real Estate.

There has also been speculation that Arctic Monkeys may be joining the bill as the Friday headliner. In a recent Twitter post (embedded above), the organisers of the festival posted a video containing the digits 0114. The number is the area dialing code for AM’s hometown of Sheffield, and also the number that appears on drummer Matt Helders’ drum kit during the band’s gigs.
